About Dr. Karen Weiss

Dr. Karen Weiss is a graduate of the Psy.D. Program in School-Clinical Psychology at Pace University. Dr. Weiss has postdoctoral training in the treatment of eating disorders and addictions, as well as in Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy. Dr. Weiss also has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and in Girls Circle, a manualized, process-oriented group program for adolescent girls.

Dr. Weiss has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of inpatient, outpatient, school, and medical settings. She spent several years as the Director of Psychological Assessment at Pace University, where she trained advanced doctoral students in the administration and interpretation of psychological and neuropsychological assessments.

Currently, Dr. Weiss enjoys having a diverse practice consisting of both psychotherapy and assessment. She is passionate about helping people identify their strengths, resolve their challenges, and know themselves more fully.
